About

Toohotmamas is a Blog Site dedicated to finding the humor in juggling Menopause, Motherhood and Marriage and staying out of prison while we’re at it.  Because there is humor in there.  Somewhere.  We hope.  And, we’re going to dig it out.  And write about it.  If we can find it.  And if Wendy can ever figure out how to log on.

Carolyn Zane, author of 35 books, wife, mother and yes…hot (flasher) lives with her fabulous husband, Matt and their 5 children and 2 dogs in the scenic Willamette Valley in Oregon.  When asked to describe her family, Carolyn likens her crowd to the Brangelia Bunch saying modestly, “Only we’re better looking.”  Right now, Carolyn is slaving away over a Young Adult Novel that she hopes to sell before the end of this millenium.  For more on her visit: www.CarolynZane.net.

Wendy Warren, lives with her family in a home previously owned by a woman named Cinderella, who bequeathed the new owners a pink GE oven, circa 1950, a gardenful of flowers they try desperately not to kill (results thus far: less than satisfactory), and an 85-year-old cousin named Vern.  Because Wendy’s husband is a prince among men and her very best friend, he puts up with endless daily home repairs and spontaneously conceived DIY remodels she convinces him must be done before she can possibly cook another meal.  Wendy is one HOT mama–not necessarily in a good way.  She is the award-winning author of many romance novels and can be reached for further comment at http://www.authorwendywarren.com

  1. Hey you zaney girls. Finally found you. Got the kidlets all raised on my end, but have to say, there are many times beyond my control when I’m a flashing lady. I totally sympathize with you. Right now I’m sitting perfectly still, hoping the hot flashes won’t come back.

  2. Omigosh! This was so worth procrastinating from my own writing. The graphic alone is priceless. It’s about time Barbie got a little realistic.

  7. So happy I found you! We are obviously on the same wavelength, as I sit here in the midst of a Canadian winter wearing a tank top. I’ll be baaaaack.

    Hi,

Healthline’s editors have selected https://toohotmamas.wordpress.com/ as one of the top blogs on the web, and we were wondering if you could provide a photo or logo that represents your blog to include in our slideshow of best blogs. The image should ideally be square and be a minimum width / length of 285px.

If you could send the photo, image or logo by this Friday 3/16/12, that would be much appreciated.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Warm Regards,
    Tracy

  9. Can’t wait to see what’s in store here….looks like lots of laughs which I am all for. How else can we go through this phase of life without humor?
